Project Overview
Established in 1999, the Tukwila Children's Foundation (TCF) is a 501(c)3 community, non-profit organization working to meet the unmet needs of Tukwila's children. They are a majority volunteer entity who strives to help their community's children through obstacles faced on a day-to-day basis.

After being on an extended hiatus, TCF decided to make a comeback in the spring of 2019, and they needed branding that reflected the community and a new site.
My Contributions
With the help of the Tukwila community and blessings from Duwamish leaders, I created a new logo, branding collateral, and a shiny new website.
Homage to the Duwamish
With this rebrand, I wanted to develop a bright, bold identity system to be applied across various material that captured the energy of the Tukwila community. With Tukwila being on Duwamish land and holding Indigenous roots, we wanted to make sure that story was ingrained in our brand. The logo uses sharp lines inspired by Indigenous symbols, and the silhouette of a community landmark. The color palette is inspired by the Tukwila School Districts colors.
